Mobil 1 75-90 seems to be the choice for F+R Diff's. The transfer case I am not finding much information except buy the transfer case fluid from Toyota. If that's all that is available then I guess it is what it is, but not spending $150 for 2 liters of fluid would be awesome.

Since my 4Runner has an open diff in the rear I would prefer to use a diff fluid that doesn’t have a friction modifier already added. The amsoil long life synthetic fluid doesn’t seem to have a friction modifier in it so Im now considering that. Am I being too picky trying to find a diff fluid without friction modifiers in it?
so based on my inspect, it's mostly not the axle (wheel ) seals that're leaking. the rear diff fill plug is very dry but the drain plug, well, it's the lowest part there so although it's wet it doesn't prove anything. the pinion seal is hard to tell although it's moist as it's also beneath that dripping "bar".
