Remove the tires and hubs, remove the large axle nuts, unbolt and remove the rear brakes and brake panel (4 nuts), and knock the axle out the right side. Next, just unbolt the center axle tube from the diff (4 bolts). Now, unbolt the diff from the swingarm (4 nuts).Feb 1, 2015 · Remove the shift motor and gears (very simple to do). Remove all the factory stiff, gummy grease that was put in the shift gears. Now, replace all that grease with a liberal amount of ALL-temperature, White Lithium Grease. Reassemble, and your shifting will be better. This works for all ES models except the Rincon.

If not, that is your problem. My 14 Foreman did the exact same thing till I took that plug apart and cleaned it and dielectric greased it, never ...

I'd only use first on the dct if you need to go 2mph while towing, if you can go 4mph use second. The 420AT was the first automatic to use a shift motor like the ES models. The Older auto machines seem to have fewer problems than the ES. The Rubicons 01-11 and Rincons don't use the same type of transmissions as the ES models.Tim King. The dct are great I have the first year 2015 no problems at all. The 2017 are said to shift smoother with new shift points. Takes a few miles to break them in after that smother as butter.
